Last night, the Elk Grove City Council held its third to the last meeting of 2026. The meeting was over in less than two hours.
The only matter of consequence Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen and her city councilmen heard was a staff report on recommendations to repurpose two taxpayer-owned structures. The structures are the recently closed library facility and the teen center building, both of which are on Elk Grove Blvd., which are in Old Town.
The city council also heard several comments on non-agenda items. Check back for more reports in the proceedings.
