The Elk Grove City Council held its final meeting of 2025 on December 10, 2025. The meeting lasted 90 minutes.

Among the highlights of the meeting were reports on the operation of the city's year-round homeless shelter, repurposing of the soon to be former-Elk Grove Public Library facility, and organic waste collection. The city council's next meeting will be on January 14, 2026.
