Two Legislators representing Elk Grove react to Minnesota politically-motivated assassinations

Saturday's assassination of a Minnesota state legislator and her spouse and the attempt on another legislator and his wife have drawn widespread condemnation. Many elected officials have issued statements regarding the killings.

Below are the statements posted to social media by State Assemblymember Stephanie Nguyen and U.S. Congresswoman Doris Matsui. Elk Grove's State Senator Angelique Ashby does not appear to have issued a statement on the events.
