The Best Post WWII MLB Players From 16 Legacy Teams
Below are the 16 teams in the National and American Leagues from 1945 that we will ask, Who Were The Best?

The Fourth of July is just around the corner. For sports fans of the four major American sports teams, the NBA Finals and the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs are over, and football is on the horizon. So, July is the month that belongs to Major League Baseball alone.
With this reference, today we are starting a four-part series to name the best players on the MLB teams that were in existence in 1945. We use 1945 as a starting date because the post-World War II baseball world finally became integrated with the Brooklyn Dodgers, and by the late 1950s, it had expanded west.
Additionally, all of these teams have been around for over 100 years, dating back to the 19th century.
