Lincoln Project senior adviser issues dire warning about the time between election and inauguration should Trump lose
Stevens said he believes Harris will win and Trump will cause widespread civil unrest.
On last evening's MSNBC 11th Hour program, Stuart Stevens of the Lincoln Project warned that the period following the November election could be more dangerous than any other since the American Civil War.
Stevens made the warning during a discussion with former Congressman Connor Lamb and host Stephanie Ruehle about false claims from Donald Trump and his supporters about rigged voting machines.
Stevens said he believes Harris will win and Trump will cause widespread civil unrest. A Republican, Stevens worked on presidential campaigns for George W. Bush, John McCain, and Mitt Romney.
