Councilman Brewer Ramps up Fundraising for '26 Reelection; Elk Grove Mayoral Candidate Files First Report
To date, Elk Grove Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen is the only person on the City Council who is being challenged
With the January 31 deadline for filing campaign financial disclosure quickly approaching, two Elk Grove candidates filed their reports last week. Those candidates are Elk Grove District 2 Councilman Rob Brewer and Roger Banos-Gonzales, who is challenging Elk Grove Mayor Bobbie Singh-Allen.

According to Mr. Brewer's California Form 460 filed with the Elk Grove City Clerk's office, the first-term councilman raised $28,543 for the six months ending December 31, 2025. For the entire year, Brewer's fundraising efforts brought in $42,066.
Among the significant contributions to Brewer during the last six months of 2025 were the following:

After campaign expenses, Brewer ended 2025 with $28,242. As of this posting, Brewer has no known opponents as he seeks his second term.
The other candidate who filed their California Form 460 last week was Mayoral candidate Mr. Roger Banos-Gonzalez. His disclosure showed no fundraising and expenses of $1,363, of which $1,040 was for Elk Grove Citizen advertising.
