Wilton Rancheria Chairman Jesus Tarango discusses importance of tribal flag flying at City Hall
Mr. Tarango said the flying of the flag adjacent to the American Flag is of great significance
As expected, during their Wednesday, July 23 meeting, the Elk Grove City Council approved the installation of a new flag pole at City Hall. The new flagpole, scheduled for installation in the next few months, will fly the official flag of the Wilton Rancheria.
During that meeting, Wilton Rancheria Chairman Jesus Tarango addressed the city council. In his remarks, Tarango said the flying of the flag adjacent to the American Flag is of great significance to members of the Wilton Rancheria, as well as the entire community.
