'Where's The Warrant?' - Video From Sunday Raid in Minneapolis
What if there are no consequences for blatant and repeated violations of the Fourth Amendment?
Although there are some reports on major mainstream media outlets, there is a proliferation of videos on social media platforms of what is happening in Minneapolis in the aftermath of the shooting death of Renée Good on January 7.
The video below appears to show a warrantless search of a Minneapolis residence. The videographer or someone nearby can be repeatedly heard asking. "Where's the warrant?"
In this video, a warrant does not appear to be presented by the marauding ICE agents. If this is, in fact, what happened, it is a blatant violation of the 4th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
Regardless of your political alliance, if the Fourth Amendment can be ignored and there are no consequences, what will stop this behavior by other law enforcement agencies under federal control in Anytown, U.S.A., tomorrow or 10 years from now under another administration?
