Elk Grove Police have identified the suspect in a weekend shooting at a local bar that left one person dead and three others injured.

Detectives named 43-year-old Roderick Randall of Sacramento (see picture below) as the suspect in the November 2 shooting at Z Town Gastro Bar on the 8400 block of Elk Grove Florin Road. Police said Randall should be considered armed and dangerous.

Officers responded around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, November 2, after reports of gunfire, three men were found suffering from gunshot wounds. One of them, an 18-year-old, whose name has not been released by the coroner's office, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two others — a 34-year-old and a 26-year-old — were taken to a local hospital. A fourth victim, age 25, later arrived at another hospital on his own.

The 34-year-old man remains in critical condition, while the other two hospitalized victims are in stable condition and expected to survive, police said.

Anyone with information on Randall’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Elk Grove Police Department at (916) 714-5115 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
