Sacramento man arrested in 2025 hit-and-run that led to Elk Grove woman’s death

ELK GROVE, Calif. — Police arrested a Sacramento man Wednesday in connection with a hit-and-run collision that injured an 80-year-old Elk Grove woman who later died from complications related to her injuries.

Keith Adam Lee, 57, was arrested Sept. 16 at his Sacramento home and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run, according to Elk Grove police. He remains in custody, is not eligible for bail and has no arraignment date set.

The collision occurred about 4:40 p.m. Oct. 10, 2025, as the woman was crossing Splendor Lane at its intersection with Lilypad Lane in a residential neighborhood, police said.

A 2007 Chevrolet Impala struck the woman, and the driver fled, according to police.

The woman suffered multiple broken bones and was treated at a local hospital. She died Nov. 21, 2025, from complications related to her injuries, police said.

The police release did not identify the woman or provide details about how investigators identified Lee as the suspect.
