Pro Vang PAC - 'Doris Matsui Traded $37 Million' as Congressmember
According to the Quiver data, most of the trades were in 2024 and 2025
Even though CA-7 candidate Mai Vang lacks the financial resources and Democratic establishment support of her opponent, incumbent Doris Matsui, one political action committee is going to the mat for her.

In a mailer sent to Democratic and no-party voters in Elk Grove, the Leaders We Deserve PAC made the claim against the 10-term congresswoman. The mailer cited Quiver Quantitative, where their Matsui page shows the 82-year-old Matsui has made 45 trades worth $37. 92 million (see image below).
According to the Quiver data, all of the trades, most of which were in 2024 and 2025, happened before Vang announced her challenge. They classify all 45 trades as being in information technology (see image below), although most appear to be purchases of U.S. Treasuries.
There appear to be two specific stock trades: $1 million in INTRINSIC EXCHANGE GROUP, and another valued between $500,000 and $1 million in NU HOLDINGS, LTD.
Quiver estimates Matsui's personal net worth at $2.3 million.
On the other side of the Vang mailer, the PAC says on her behalf, "Ban Congressional stock trading. End corruption in poltics." (See below)
