'Nothing to see here folks' as Elk Grove Councilmember Spease discloses semiannual campaign finances
Spease has eschewed fundraising activities.
In his semiannual campaign finance report for the first six months of 2025, Elk Grove District 3 Councilmember Kevin Spease had little to report.
According to his California Form 460 filed today with the Elk Grove City Clerk, Mr. Spease did not collect any campaign contributions during the first six months of the year. Spease's campaign account has a cash balance of $18,017.
On another account, Spease has an unpaid personal loan of $30,000 and a cash balance of $89. Spease earned a second term for District 3 in 2024 when he was unopposed.
Since then, Spease has eschewed fundraising activities.
All members of the Elk Grove City Council must report their fundraising activities by the end of business today. Mayor Singh-Allen, Councilmembers Sergio Robles, and Darren Suen have not submitted their reports as of 3:30 p.m. today.
