Gov. Newsom to Border Czar Homan - 'Arrest me'
"That kind of bloviating is exhausting"
During a Sunday evening, June 8 interview with MSNBC California Governor Gavin Newsom called the bluff of the Trump Administration's Border Czar, Tom Homan.
Earlier in the day Homan suggested that Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass could be arrested for interfering with ICE raids. Sensing it was more bluster, Newsome forcefully reacted to the suggestion.
"Come after me, arrest me, let's just get it over, tough guy," Newsom said.
He added, "That kind of bloviating is exhausting, so Tom, arrest me. Let's go."
