Elk Grove Police investigating Monday morning shooting - 2 dead

This morning the Elk Grove Police Department reported on social media that detectives are investigating an early morning shooting. There are reportedly two dead at a residence on the 8200 block of Triplefin Way.

Shooting Investigation

We are investigating a shooting that took place around 5:40 this morning inside a house in the 8200 block of Triplefin Way.

Two people were found dead on scene. Circumstances leading up to the shooting are unknown at this time.
