Elk Grove Councilmember Sergio Robles fires up fundraising machine for reelection bid
Robles is seeking his second term and faces one challenger
ELK GROVE, Calif. - As the only current member of the three Elk Grove City Council members whose terms end in December and who are being challenged this November, Sergio Robles is ramping up his fundraising activities. Robles was first elected in 2022, is running for a second term, and is being challenged by Peggy Parks.
According to filings with the Elk Grove City Clerk's office, in the past seven days, Mr. Robles has received two contributions totaling $3,500. The contributions included $1,500 from Fran Schetter and $2,000 from Ashley Bergen, who listed her employment as [non-elected] "committee member Cosumnes Community Services District."
In his last semi-annual finance report for the period ending June 30, Robles reported $16,753 cash on hand. For the reporting period, Robles raised $8,400.
