Bish Bashes Kiley - Implies Insufficient Loyalty to Trump, MAGA
Republican Congressional candidate Christine Bash broke the so-called Ronald Reagan 11th Commandment
In a social media post yesterday, Republican Congressional candidate Christine Bash broke the so-called Ronald Reagan 11th Commandment by bashing fellow Republican, Congressman Kevin Kiley. That edict by the former Republican President says, "Thou shalt not speak ill of any Republican."
Bash is one of two Republican candidates in the crowded contest for the open 6th Congressional District seat in California. In her post, which can be seen in the video posted below, Bash took Kiley to task for his recent vote against President Donald Trump on tariffs.
By inference, Bash supports Trump's agenda. Kiley has on occasion crossed party lines and voted against the MAGA agenda, especially after the 3rd District he currently represents was redrawn following the approval of Proposition 50, which now has a Democratic voter advantage.
Bash also took Kiley to task for not yet announcing which District he will run for reelection. Kiley, who has about three weeks to make his decision, has said one seat he is considering running for is the 5th District against incumbent and stalwart MAGA Republican Tom McClintock.
The post in part said:
Trump warned Republicans: stop the games and start delivering.
That includes Kevin Kiley.
While Kiley plays a political Bachelor chasing the safest District; Sacramento Valley families are crushed by unaffordable housing, energy, and food costs, rising crime, and families being pushed out of California.
While Bash's chance of advancing to the November general election in California's top-two primary is narrow, her comments are illuminating. Should Kiley challenge McClintock, his MAGA credentials in the heavily Republican district will be scrutinized.
