Accomplice to Wanted Elk Grove Homicide Suspect Arrested
Police still hunting down suspected shooter.
Elk Grove Police said the shooting early Sunday morning at Z Town Gastro Pub in Elk Grove began with an argument between suspect Roderick Randall and one of the victims, leaving one person dead and three others wounded.
Detectives said two of the injured victims are expected to survive, while a fourth remains in critical condition. Authorities have not determined the relationship between Randall and the victims.
Late Monday afternoon, investigators arrested Randall’s girlfriend, 25-year-old Thao Kim Tran, on suspicion of being an accessory to a crime, police said. She was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail and is being held without bail.
Randall remains at large, and detectives are actively searching for him. Ms. Tran will be arraigned tomorrow afternoon.
